Summary Information
Drinking water is sampled for food premises that do not have scheme water. The frequency of sampling should be determined based on the type of filtration and treatment system available as well as other factors such as the risk of the premises and past performance.
Generally, if residents want to have their private drinking water tested they would arrange to do this privately, or pay a fee if an existing arrangement is in place with the local government.
