Environmental Health Australia
64th Annual
WA/NT Branch Conference
5th to 7th of May 2010
The theme of the 64th Branch Conference is: 'Environmental Health Practitioner -
Scientist or Inspector?'
And it is anticipated that this theme will generate a variety of debate concerning the
future of the environmental health profession, with particular reference to emerging
areas of public health, risk management, emergency management, creating healthy
spaces and places within the built environment, and other topics.
Sponsorship & Exhibition.
A number of sponsorship opportunities designed to benefit your organisation are
available. Being an exhibitor at the conference is the perfect, cost efficient means to
promote your product and/or services to an audience of at least 200 key decision
makers.
After many years at The Esplanade in Fremantle, and following a survey of members, it
was resolved to seek a new venue.
Venue:
Novotel Swan Valley Vines Resort
Verdelho Drive, The Vines
The 64th Branch Conference has ‘gone bush’ and will be held at The Vines Resort in
the Swan Valley. Whilst The Vines may seem a long way from the city, however as
the Conference Committee discovered, in fact travel time to The Vines is shorter for
much of the metropolitan area, compared to The Esplanade in Fremantle.
Furthermore, its apparent remoteness is a ‘pleasant illusion’ -
The Vines has a definite rural feel to it, and we are sure that
delegates will appreciate this whilst networking with
colleagues in the superb grounds.
Being located in the Swan Valley will allow a variety of
technical tours suited to this unique location.
Accommodation:
Special Conference Room Rates on Resort Rooms, King Spa
Rooms and inexpensive Two and Three Bedroom Apartments.
Accommodation
Conference Day Rate:
Members $330 (GST inc)
Non-Members $440 (GST inc)
