Summary Information

A number of communicable diseases are notifiable in Western Australia, however not all require follow up by an Environmental Health Officer. Notifiable enteric diseases are no longer investigated at local government level, this is now conducted by Ozfoodnet. Mosquito borne diseases however require the completion of a follow up questionnaire.
