Summary Information
As part of an application for a liquor licence proprietors are required to obtain a Section 39 from health services and a Section 40 from planning services. A Section 39 provides confirmation that the premises complies with health legislation. In order to issue a certificate a public building and food premises inspection may be required to determine compliance. Non-conditional certificates should be provided, therefore outstanding non-compliances should be addressed prior to the issuing of a Section 39 certificate.
